Volunteer

PPRC relies on volunteers to be able to provide the services we do. Whether you are someone who has benefited from our services and want to give back, have witnessed someone benefit form our services, have specific skills you think would be a good match with PPRC, are passionate about women’s health and their families, or are just looking for a helpful way to volunteer in your community, we have something for you!

Ways to help:

HIGH PRIORITY! We are currently in need of people to be on a fundraising committee to plan, organize and carry out upcoming fundraising endeavors. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. These volunteers are crucial since raising funds is the foundation that allows us to provide these much needed services.

Plan and organize community and professional educational seminars

Answer support-line calls

Facilitate support groups

Coordinate mailings

We ask that PPD survivors are fully recovered (about a year after baby’s birth, as a rule of thumb) before volunteering and that all volunteers maintain physical, mental & emotional health. If you would like to volunteer, contact PPRC at 913.677.1300.

We don’t say it often enough… THANK YOU for all the time, energy, and passion you offer to PPRC and the mothers we serve!

Please stay tuned for future opportunities to volunteer with PPRC – we’ll be glad you did!
